Come and learn about “Día de los Muertos,” the Mexican ancestral celebration, at a free event held on both Friday, November 2nd and Saturday, November 3rd at The Baum School of Art (501 Linden Street, Allentown, PA).
Local university professors will explain the significance of Día de los Muertos and how it differs from Halloween. There will be performances, fine art, a community altar, delicious tamales and champurrado. Join us for family art workshops, and more!
On Friday, November 2nd, 6:00 – 8:00 pm: A night that promises art, culture, performances, music, and food. It is also a night to remember those who are not with us anymore.
On Saturday, November 3rd, 12:30 – 2:00 pm: Learn how to make cut paper, sugar skulls, and fantastic creatures in the family workshops.
