Tuesday, March 26th featured a fun-filled “Evening with Third Grade.” Upon entrance to the CE Auditorium, the parents were each given a program with a number written in the top right-hand corner. They were then treated to a variety of poem recitations by both English and Spanish Immersion classes.
Everyone then moved around the room to see each student’s “Mini Museum.” Each Mini Museum was as different as the next; some students focused on math, reading, science, or social studies. Each student was able to explain how their museum displayed something they have enjoyed learning this year.
The evening ended with a Rube Goldberg machine the students collaborated to create. We drew a number, and the lucky person from the audience who held the program with that number got to pull the handle to start the machine! What an amazing finale to a wonderful night! Well done third grade!
