Middle School Ski Club’s first outing to Camelback Mountain on Friday, January 4th was a success! We are looking forward to future Ski Fridays with this fun group of students.
View pictures of the first outing below:
This year, the Ski Club will hit the slopes on January 4th, January 11th, January 18th, January 25th, and February 1st. (A make-up date is also scheduled for February 15.) Transportation to and from the resort is provided. Students and family members of all abilities are welcome to join the fun!
A reminder to all participating students, most public school buses do not permit ski or snowboard equipment on buses. These items will need to be brought in the morning to the Middle School by car or a parent may take them to the hill and meet you at Camelback. Students who ride the bus to and from Camelback may leave their backpacks in the Devey Building each evening. Pick up will occur at 10:30 pm and all students will need to be signed out by a ski club chaperone. The buses for pick up will pull in front of the Devey Building. If you are picking up your child at Camelback, please sign them out at the chaperone table in the lodge at Camelback.
All ski Fridays are non-uniform days for the Middle School. Students are asked to donate two non-perishable goods which are then donated to our community service partners at Northeast Ministry.
