On April 26th, 10 Upper School students competed in the Northampton County Envirothon. The students tested their knowledge of their natural environment in five categories; soils, aquatics, wildlife, forestry, and grassland/pasture management.
Competing against 14 teams from around the county, the students won the soil category and placed fourth overall, missing third place by three points!
This is a voluntary day of learning for our students, and their strong problem solving and collaborating skills, and the solid background they receive in science classes come together to bring our teams to the top of the competition every year.
